Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Marque, Texas will conduct a Regular Meeting on August 8, 2022, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 1109-B Bayou Road La Marque, Texas as well as via videoconference hosted through Zoom ( https://zoom.us/j/92493940502 ). In accordance with Section 551.127(b) of the Texas Local Government Code the presiding officer and a quorum of the La Marque City Council intend to be and will be physically present at 1109-B Bayou Road, La Marque, Texas. This location will be open to the public and the meeting will be broadcast at this location, on Channel 16, and via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6G8ypjyEDo).
The Council will meet for the purpose of considering the following agenda:

Centerpoint Energy Streetlighting LED Agreement
approving Preliminary Plat application for Ambrose Section 2, near Victory Springs and Fleming Road with conditions as suggested by Planning and Zoning
Preliminary plat application for Ambrose Section 3, near Victory Springs and Fleming Road
Supporting the City of La Marque's application for a grant for Mahan Park
ratifying the City of La Marque's application for a grant from TCEQ for dredging the canals in the Omega Bay Subdivision
designating certain officials as being responsible for, acting for, and on behalf of the City of La Marque, Texas in dealing with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for the purposes of participating in the Local Park Grant Program
authorizing the City Manager to sign an agreement with the Texas City La Marque Chamber of Commerce
ratifying the purchase of a blower for the wastewater treatment plant
ratifying the Bayou Fest talent contracts
approving a $17,500 transfer from Parks Fund balance to the Park Improvements Fund
a submitted report to update Council and Community on the standard operations of the City, report can be acknowledged as whole or discussed at the pleasure of Council.
