Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Marque, Texas will conduct a Regular Meeting on November 14, 2022, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 1109-B Bayou Road La Marque, Texas as well as via videoconference hosted through Zoom ( https://zoom.us/j/92493940502 ). In accordance with Section 551.127(b) of the Texas Local Government Code the presiding officer and a quorum of the La Marque City Council intend to be and will be physically present at 1109-B Bayou Road, La Marque, Texas. This location will be open to the public and the meeting will be broadcast at this location, on Channel 16, and via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6G8ypjyEDo).

Reducing the speed limit in a construction zone as requested by the Texas Department of Transportation; making various findings; and providing an effective date

Amending Appendix A, Schedule of Fees and Charges of the Code of Ordinances, City of La Marque, Texas by amending prescribed water and sewer rates
Unless otherwise specified, the City Manager is authorized to execute all necessary documents upon final approval by the City Attorney.
Authorizing an agreement with CGI Digital to participate in the Community Showcase Video Program
Authorizing the sale of real estate along Highway 3 to the Gulf Coast Water Authority for a public purpose; making various findings; and providing an effective date
approving a Change Order in the amount of $177,799.20 from Lucas Construction for additional work and material cost increases to the 2022 Galveston County partially funded City of La Marque Various Road Project
awarding Bid LM #02-23 to American Janitorial Services for janitorial services in the amount of $32040.00
Reappointment of James Osteen and Randall Aragon to the Galveston County Animal Services Advisory Committee
Awarding Bid 03-23 for Water and Sewer Material purchases to Core and Main for an amount not to exceed $55,000
designating a representative and alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council 2023 General Assembly
appointments, reappointments, or removals of all City Boards and Commissions
a submitted report to update Council and Community on the standard operations of the City, report can be acknowledged as whole or discussed at the pleasure of Council.

Identify and authorize projects for submission to the Southeast Texas Housing Authority
Setting guidelines for naming rights of city property
Authorizing the development and preparation of the CDBG-MIT Regional Method of Distribution (MOD) application for Water Improvements within Area 6 & 7 (Census Tract 7262; Block Group 2) as notated in the 2016 Water Distribution Study; including preliminary engineering design required for the Project
Considering possible options for tax assessment and collection services for the City of La Marque
