The power is out at La Marque City Hall so Utility Billing cannot take payments at this time. The La Marque Office of Emergency Management is monitoring street flooding.

Rainstorms overnight caused localized street flooding and power outages in La Marque. The power is out at La Marque City Hall so Utility Billing cannot take payments at this time.

The La Marque Office of Emergency Management is monitoring flooding. The water is flowing and is expected to drain. With more rain on the way, citizens are urged to use caution and monitor local news for updates. Follow US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas for weather forecasts. 

Storms are moving in from the Gulf of Mexico this morning. Thunder will be booming throughout the morning. Brief heavy downpours and lightning are the main threats. Isolated rain amounts of 1-2 inches are possible.
