La Marque City Council funded ten internships with a $10 hourly wage for six weeks, from June 14 to July 23, 2021. The jobs are 40 hours per week, and the interns will spend time in all city departments and see how municipal government functions.

La Marque City Council funded ten internships with a $10 hourly wage for six weeks, from June 14 to July 23, 2021. Applications are due June 7, 2021. The jobs are 40 hours per week, and the hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Applicants must live in the City of La Marque and must be between 16 and 19 years of age with dependable transportation. Apply on the city website at Departments>Human Resources>Positions Available.
La Marque City Manager Tink Jackson encourages high school students and recent graduates to apply.

Positions are available in City Administration, Fire Department, Library, Police Department, Public Works. The interns will spend time in all city departments and see how municipal government functions. Applicants will spend time working on departmental projects, networking, and fulfilling tasks set out by the supervisor.
