Gulf Coast Water Authority had generator failure last night and plan to issue a Boil Water Notice due to total system pressure loss of less than 20psig.
GCWA is issuing BWN for their water supply, we are following their lead.

Gulf Coast Water Authority had generator failure last night and plan to issue a Boil Water Notice due to total system pressure loss less than 20psig.
LaMarque is a separate system; we produce pressure by our elevated storage tanks and the tanks did not empty, which means we had pressure in our system although we were not taking in water from GCWA.
City of La Marque system pressure has been restored, we do not have confirmation that our system dropped below 20psig, but since we are bringing in water from GCWA ad they are issuing BWN for their water supply, we are following their lead.
