Republic trash trucks will be running Saturday, September 9, 2017, to collect all bagged household garbage outside of carts.
According to Republic Services, trash trucks will be running this Saturday, September 9, 2017, to collect bagged household garbage outside of carts. The intent is to collect extra household waste that piled up during Hurricane Harvey. This is not storm debris pickup.
Republic also reported that all residential cart pickups in La Marque should be back on schedule as of Thursday, September 7, 2017. If you are still having issues with trash pickup, please contact La Marque Utility Billing. Due to high call volume, please be prepared to leave a message.
City officials are diligently working on a storm debris contract and will release information as soon as it becomes available. Once the contract is initiated, homes that were flooded and have household storm debris, such as carpet and sheetrock, will take priority over sticks and limbs. City officials are asking for continued patience. We are all in this together. #TexasStrong
