Since July 2019, Joe Mose, Felicia Ward, Chaise Cary, Richard Garcia and Amanda Hobby have been recognized for excellence in customer service.
Five City of La Marque employees have been recognized for outstanding customer service with an “Excellent Customer Service Award” as part of City Manager Tink Jackson’s dedication to exemplary service and citizen satisfaction.
The award recognizes employees who abide and rise above the City of La Marque Code of Professional Conduct, which was implemented on May 7, 2019, shortly after Mr. Jackson’s arrival. To date, the awards have stemmed from accolades summited by citizens of La Marque, letters from vendors who work with city staff or by coworker nominations.
According to Mr. Jackson, excellent customer service is not only expected, but it is also a job requirement for the City of La Marque.
“What we do on a daily business is for the citizens, and each of them deserves to be respected and treated with excellence,” Jackson said. “Our employees understand that, in most cases, interactions between citizens and city staff may be few and far between. We want each and every one of those interactions to inspire trust and confidence in what we are doing with their taxpayer dollars!”
