As of 4 PM CDT, #Hanna remains a tropical storm with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph, moving to the west at 10 mph. The system is on track to make landfall tomorrow near Corpus Christi as a hurricane.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for portions of SE Texas until 7:00 a.m. Sunday. Rainfall totals of two to four inches are expected. Isolated rain totals of six to eight inches are possible. Poor drainage due to possible coastal flooding may worsen the flood threat. Please stay weather aware.

Elevated tides are expected along the bays and barrier islands this weekend. Increased water levels due to wave run-up are expected. This may result in water levels one to three feet above normal, and minor coastal flooding is possible.

Stay weather aware, La Marque. For emergencies, dial 911. To report weather information, such as downed trees or high water on roadways, call La Marque Police Department Dispatch at 409-938-9269.
