Hurricane Delta is expected to make landfall Friday evening in Southeast Louisiana. Tropical Storm and Coastal Flooding Warnings were issued for our area. We don't expect heavy rainfall from Delta unless the storm tracks west, but tropical-storm-force winds are possible later tonight and Friday.

Stay weather aware, La Marque. The Office of Emergency Management is monitoring Hurricane Delta. We don't expect heavy rainfall or flooding from Hurricane Delta unless the track shifts west, but we could experience tropical-storm-force winds as early as Thursday. The City of La Marque is currently under a Tropical Storm Watch.
