Texas Department of Transportation has several planned closures that could impact the citizens of La Marque over the next week. In addition to the closures in La Marque, all I-45 Gulf Freeway southbound main lanes will be closed from SH 96 to FM 517 starting Friday, January 8 at 9:00 p.m. through Monday, January 11 at 5:00 a.m. All traffic will be detoured onto the southbound frontage road at the SH 96 exit ramp and will be allowed to re-enter the southbound main lanes from Holland Road. Crews will reconfigure the southbound main lanes during this time.
