[ARCHIVED] JUNETEENTH GALA

Juneteenth 2023

Commemorate Juneteenth 2023 with our first annual Gala Event! Mark your calendars - June 9th | 7PM

We commemorate a pivotal moment in American history—the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. On June 19th, 1865, the news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, marking the end of slavery across the U.S.A.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect, honor, and celebrate the resilience, strength, and rich cultural heritage of African Americans. It serves as a reminder of the progress we've made as a nation and the work that still lies ahead to achieve true equality and justice for all.

Let us use this time to educate ourselves and others about the struggles and achievements of African Americans throughout history. Let's amplify Black voices, support Black-owned businesses, and engage in meaningful conversations that foster understanding and empathy.

As we commemorate Juneteenth, let's recommit ourselves to the ongoing fight against systemic racism and discrimination. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone.
