More… Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission, which is committed to enhancing the community environment of the City of La Marque, announced the launch of their 2020 Texas Trash-Off event, taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at La Marque City Hall. Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission invites individuals of all ages to participate in the event and help keep La Marque clean and beautiful. VOLUNTEER GROUPS NEEDED TO CLEAN LA MARQUE ROADSIDES A contest for most bags of trash collected is planned. Group prizes are $200, $100 and $75. Individuals prizes are $100, $50 and $25. More… The Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission is gearing up for the 2022 “Light Up La Marque” Christmas Lights Contest and encouraging citizens to register or nominate a neighbor by Monday, December 19, 2022. A new set of rules was developed this year and the commission hopes for record participation. 2022 CONTEST FORMAT Registration is open through December 27, 2022. Residents of La Marque are encouraged to register and nominate neighbors for festive décor at beautiful.cityoflamarque.org. From December 14 through December 26, 2022, voting will be held in the Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission Facebook group. Winners will be announced on December 28, 2022, including a category of "Continuing Excellence". Previous winners are eligible to participate.
